What To Include In Your Request
A few details help us identify the insect and plan a safe, pesticide-free removal.
- A photo of the nest (or of the insects at the entrance) and a short video if you can get one safely
- Where it is on the property: eave, soffit, deck, grill, shed, ground, inside a wall or ceiling, basement
- Species, if known: yellowjacket, bald-faced hornet, European hornet, paper wasp, bumblebee, honeybee, mud dauber, or “I don’t know”
- Your name, phone number and the property address (town and county)
- Is anyone in the household allergic to stings?
- Is the activity more than 20 ft off the ground?
- Is it multi-family housing, or near high-voltage lines or electrical equipment?
- Have any pesticides or wasp sprays already been used on the nest?
Not sure what you have? See our identification guide. Honeybees are relocated by our sister company, The Mindful Beekeeper.
Urgent Situations & Sting Allergies
If someone is having a severe allergic reaction to a sting, call 911 immediately. Do not wait for a callback.
If a nest is next to a doorway, play area or someone with a known sting allergy, call or text 419-614-6445, say it is urgent, and mention the allergy. Keep people and pets away from the nest and do not spray it. Disturbing a nest can trigger a mass defense. More in emergency wasp removal & sting allergies.
